Camping with Pack 73

Pack 73 participates in two camps each year. These camps offer scouts new adventures focused on a variety of activities such as BB guns, archery, slingshot, wood projects, rope making, knot tying, games, fire building, and more. Activities vary each year and by camp.

Swamp Fox Camp - September 25-27, 2020
Swamp Fox occurs in the fall at Camp Long Lake in St. Cloud, WI and is coordinated by the Potawatomi Area Council.
  Swamp Fox is tent camping for the whole family! Sign up will close March 27, 2020.  Sign up here.

Sign up for camps will be on a first-come, first-serve bases as spots are limited. Camping events will be in Scoutbook. Scouts in Lion through Arrow of Light are eligible to attend. 

Camps start on Friday evening and run through Sunday morning, include meals and on-site restrooms/showers. 

Each camp offers the honorary recognition for Scouts demonstrating the best scout behavior, upholding the Scout Law and Oath. Pack 73 honorees are voted in by fellow scouts and parents attending the event. Typically the Pack receives 1 honor per 8 attending scouts. Boys who have earned the honors in prior years and Tigers are not eligible.

Webelos Resident Camp

Webelos resident camp is geared towards older cub scouts looking for adventure. At this camp, scouts will complete many requirements, earn patches and participate in a 3-night, 4-day overnight camping experience.  Scouts will tent camp at Camp Long Lake. The Webelos den leaders will coordinate this event with the parents of the scouts in the den. 

When: August 2-5, 2020
Register: Early bird registration until June 11, 2020.  
Cost:  $85 per Adult, $150 per Webelos/AOL Scout

Cub Scout Day Camp

The Cub ScoutOutdoor Program develops age-appropriate outdoor scouting skills. As Cub Scoutsprogress, the opportunities for outdoor adventures become morechallenging.  1-5 day programs areorganized by out council for Tiger-Bear and Webelos Scouts, and overseen bycertified leadership.  Day Camp involvesdaytime nature, sports, aquatics and craft activities.  Council camps are offered as follows:

June 17-19  Oconomowoc                          July14-16 Muskego

July 7-9 Waukesha                                        July27-29 Menomonee Falls

July 20-23 Oconomowoc (4 day)
